Succeeding on Fiverr is hard. It takes a lot of time and effort to get your first order.
It was a lot easier to succeed on this platform 5 years ago than it is now. So, with a lot of competition, how do you get orders and clients?
Finding a low competitive niche or a micro-niche is the answer.
You can do this in 2 different ways. However, both these methods use the power of keywords!
1. Finding Unique Methods Created By Industry Experts
Let me elaborate on how this can be done with an example.
Let’s say you are a freelance blog writer.
You list your service on Fiverr as “I will write a high quality, SEO optimized Blog post”. When people/clients search for a “Blog writer” or “SEO article”, They get a whopping 29,000+ services listed.
And it’s 100% sure that you as a beginner won’t be on the first page of their search results.
So, what can you do?
Find unique methods by which industry experts write. These experts might also give that method a name. For example, Income school is one of the best places for bloggers to learn. They have a flagship training program called Project 24 where they teach people how to blog and everything related to Blogging and Youtube.
They even have a unique method of researching keywords and a fairly unique method to write a blog post
So, If you list your service as “I will write a Project 24 blog post for you” and when people search for “Project 24”. This is what the result page will look like:-
Just 131 services listed! and the best part is that out of these 131 services only 10-15 of them are related.
Now the next question that you may have is, but do people actually search for this keyword “Project 24”?
Yes, they do because Income School and Project 24 is very well known in the blogging community. And if you are still doubtful, just have a look at the number of orders some of those gigs have! (Even, I have ordered more than 10 blog posts from 2 of the freelancers listed there)
2. Branded Services
Another great way is to include branded keywords into your Gig title and description.
Let’s say you provide a graphic design service. This is a competitive niche. Instead of this, you could narrow down your niche to something like “Spotify Banner”.
This will not only increase your chances of getting an order but also you could leverage that opportunity to showcase your other gigs that are related to graphic designing.

Now, that you know the “secret” methods, it would be really easy for you to succeed on Fiverr.
Anyway, here’s a list of 9 Low competition gigs on Fiverr that you can easily do and possibly succeed on the platform:-
1. Project 24 Blog Post and Research Method
As I have said above, this is one of the best opportunities out there. However, this might get saturated, if a lot of people jump aboard seeing this article.
Now, the first and foremost thing to do if you are going to take up this gig would be to educate yourself. Income School youtube channel is the best place to start for that.
If you can shell out some money, then I would highly recommend taking up their course: Project 24. That way, you could do blogging as well as be a freelance writer for others.

2. Spotify Banner
Spotify is one of the best music streaming platforms on the internet. There are a lot of individual artists who are trying their best to grow on Spotify or in the music industry.
Spotify banner is a graphic design service and is one of the least competitive ones that I could find in this category.
There are just 24 services for this and it could be a great service to offer.
When you create gigs like these, also include your other graphic design services as well.

3. Discord PFP
Discord is an online platform that helps you to talk over voice, video, and text. It’s mostly used by content creators and gamers to engage more with their fans.
PFP stands for Profile picture and a lot of people want this to be as appealing as possible on Discord. An animated profile picture is what most people would want, so make sure you learn how to do it.
There are just 83 services when searched for the term “Discord PFP”. If you are interested, learn how to make good profile pictures and capitalize on this opportunity.

4. Gaming Montage
Montage is basically an editing technique that combines small shots of video and compiles it into a 1-5 minute video.
In this case, it’s gaming videos. There are a lot of games right now. Some popular games being:- Valorant, COD, Pubg Mobile, Fortnite, etc.
You could be a montage creator for any of these games and there are a lot of people who are willing to pay for some really good montages.
A simple search of “COD Montage” had only about 270 services. This is a bit high when compared with other services listed here. But, if you can find some new, trending games instead of COD, you could succeed here.

5. Skyscraper Technique
This is another technique or method that was created by a blogger called Brian Dean. Simply speaking, it’s a method by which you write an article that helps you get a lot of backlinks.
This gig might be a little bit too narrow but if you can get some orders, it might help you get more exposure for your other gigs too.
There were only 28 gigs listed when I searched for the term “Skyscraper”. This may be a good place to start if you are planning to become a freelance writer.

6. Instagram Reel Ads
Instagram Reels is blowing up right now since Tiktok got banned in some countries. Creating an ad that looks like genuine entertainment content is really hard.
But if you have that type of skill, this gig is perfect for you. A lot of people are trying to promote their products on Reels since some tend to go viral.
If done perfectly, they could save a lot of money on marketing costs.
I could find about 300 different services listed when searched for “Instagram reels” on Fiverr. You could maybe add Tiktok ads too in the same gig or as a separate one.

7. Valorant Thumbnail
Youtube thumbnails are a very broad niche. It’s really hard if go that broad. So, Making it even narrower would be good.
Thumbnails related to Valorant are something that I have seen to be less competitive.
For those people who don’t know what Valorant is. It is basically an FPS shooting game that has a huge fanbase in the gaming community right now.
I could only find about 100 services related to “Valorant thumbnails”. This is just an example, you could find other games/content that could go with the keyword “thumbnail” and provide a service related to it.

8. WhatsApp Sticker
WhatsApp is one of the most used apps in the world. Providing services related to it will always be profitable as long as WhatsApp exists.
WhatsApp Stickers can be made by anyone. However, creating a high-quality one would be tough. You would need a good designer for it
There are only 36 services that provide this service right now. The competition is too low and I think you could try this Fiverr gig

9. Instagram or Clubhouse Bio
Instagram and Clubhouse are used by millions of people worldwide. Almost all people want their profile to stand out and you could help them with that.
This service is simple if you know English very well. And you could also use the internet to browse some good bios of Instagram and Clubhouse( just don’t copy-paste the same thing)
There were only 71 services for Clubhouse bio and about 140 services for Instagram bio. It does seem like a good opportunity.

If you ever try any one of the gigs that I mentioned above, please do a learn about it before you list your service on Fiverr.
The service that you provide must be of high quality, otherwise, you won’t ever succeed here on this platform. A few bad reviews and you would miss out on a lot of orders.
Also, I can’t guarantee you any sales/orders if you take up the above gigs. I found these gigs to be less competitive when compared with others and had to share this info.
