What is Wealthy Affiliate?

Wealthy Affiliate is a training program that helps build successful businesses online. Wealthy Affiliate has a lot of users and is one of the best courses you can get for affiliate marketing.

Creating passive income websites is getting harder day by day. It was easier during the 2000-2008 period to rank on google.

You stuff some keywords into your posts and BOOM! Top of Google.

But today, You can’t do that.

Google has become intelligent like never before. So, any black hat techniques you use, it will come to haunt you in the future.

Wealthy Affiliate teaches you the best and proven steps to build a successful business online in a short period of time.

However, I have to stress on the fact that, this is not a get rich quick scheme. It will literally take months to finally make some money.

This is a deal-breaker because premium WordPress hosting and domain alone cost around $100-$150 per year.

With Wealthy Affiliate, you can host all your websites on a secure and reliable managed WordPress hosting platform.

So, you save a lot of money when you choose Wealthy Affiliate.

2. Training Courses

There are hundreds of training courses that you can access. When you join, you are directed to a page where you start building your business.

You do not need all the courses to build a business, but some of them are absolutely necessary.

There are some cons to these courses provided which I will discuss later.

3. Research Tools

A lot of research and SEO tools are free to access if you pay for the Premium. Some tools are:-

  • Search Analysis
  • Generate Keyword Ideas
  • Site Rank Checker
  • Explore lots of Niches and Keywords
  • and much more.

4. Weekly Live Webinar

Every week, a live webinar is held. You can jump right in without any additional costs.

They cover topics like how you can expand your business even further, some other advanced techniques, etc.

These live webinars are archived and can be watched whenever you get the time.

5. Live Chat and Private messaging.

There is a Live Chat group where you can ask questions or answer other people’s questions.

There is also a private messaging feature which lets you contact anyone in Wealthy Affiliate community.

You can even contact Kyle and Carson, the founders of WA and surprisingly, they respond.

6. A Great Community

You get a massive engaging community when you join Wealthy Affiliate. If you are stuck somewhere, just post where you are, and the community will help you.

Moreover, People posts their success stories, and other engaging posts. This helps you get motivated and lets you keep going.

7. Affiliate Program

Wealthy Affiliate has its own affiliate program. You can promote them to your audience and make money for each premium member who signs up using your link.

They also have platform where you can search and find affiliate programs that are available for your niche.

What I Don’t Like

Most of the training courses are outdated. They do not update their courses. Latest techniques aren’t used in some of these courses.

But, don’t get me wrong. That doesn’t mean that they are bad. If they had consistently updated these courses it would have been a lot better.

The other thing is which I found to be distracting, is the massive community. It sometimes can lure you away. Since it’s close to a social marketing site. You might get caught up in conversation with many people. It’s not much of a problem, but if you are a social person, you must probably keep this in mind before joining.

Competition With other Courses

There is stiff competition for Wealthy affiliate in the online training industry. It competes with some of the best-in-class courses like Income School’s Project 24 and Authority Hacker’s training.

Wealthy Affiliate vs Project 24

Project 24 is one of the best courses to take if you are a complete beginner. The founders, Jim and Ricky teaches every single thing in detail.

In my opinion, they are one of the best teachers in this blogging space. They own a Youtube channel where they produce quality content and help people develop their business online.

If you ask me which to choose between these two, I would probably opt for Income School’s Project 24. The training you get is quite updated which is opposite to what WA gives.

P.S- I am an affiliate to both of these programs and Wealthy affiliate gives higher commissions than Project 24 does. So, my point is that the above statement that I made is completely my personal opinion and not because of the money involved.

Moreover, Project 24 has a unique part which no other course does. It helps you build successful blogs without the need for Backlinks.

Yes! That’s true. And that is one of the reasons why I like it so much.

You can check out my Project 24 review Here.

Wealthy affiliate vs Authority Hacker

Authority Hacker is a course by Gael Breton and Mark Webster. Tt’s a great course for beginners and helps you build a long term business online.

However, the course is quite pricey, costing $997 and it can cost you more because they use some expensive tools.

Wealthy Affiliate, on the other hand, doesn’t cost you this much. It’s just $49/month. But you would have to compromise on the outdated content that they provide you.

If you ask me which course should I prefer from these three. I would go for Income School’s Project 24. It’s beginner-friendly, doesn’t break your bank account and helps you build a successful business.

Pricing

Wealthy Affiliate is priced at $49/month. However, you can get it for just $19 for 1 month and subsequent months will be charged at $49.

There’s also a discount if you pay annually. It will cost only $359/year.

You can also join Wealthy Affiliate for free. However, most of the features are limited. If you are serious about creating a business online, I recommend you pay for the premium.

For a comprehensive course like this, this price is pretty much expected. So, it’s not a waste of money.
